Johnny Depp will continue serving as the face of Dior Sauvage, after signing a three-year contract 'upwards of $20 million.'
While his ex-wife Amber Heard has reportedly quit Hollywood and moved to Madrid, Spain, following their high-profile defamation trial last year, the Edward Scissorhands actor, 59, may have struck the largest men’s fragrance deal in history, according to Variety.
The publication pointed out he was paid nearly twice what Robert Pattinson earned as a spokesperson for Dior Homme. Similarly, Brad Pitt was paid $7 million to promote Chanel No. 5.
A source told the outlet that 'most A-listers with fragrance deals pull in around $2 million-$4 million per year like Chris Pine, whose deal with Armani is valued at $4 million a year over 3 years.'
Depp first became the face of the men's scent in 2015, and continued working with the luxury fashion house amid his legal woes with Heard, who accused him of physical abuse and sexual assault.

Dior stood by Johnny throughout his trial, and sales of the cologne he advertises, Sauvage, rose at retailers, the Wall Street Journal reported in June 2022.
The publication stated that Depp's cologne was among their top-selling fragrances online last year.
While he continues to thrive professionally, DailyMail.com confirmed his former spouse has 'quit Hollywood and quietly relocated to Spain' with her daughter Oonagh Paige, two.
'She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise,' a friend of the performer revealed.
The insider continued: '‘I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right for the right project.’
The Aquaman actress sold her home in Yucca Valley, California, in July last year for $1.1million (nearly double what she paid for it).
Then, in October, she was photographed on a beach in Majorca with her girlfriend Eve Barlow. At the time, she was rumoured to be living in a rented house on the island.
