A BBC daytime star has ditched the broadcaster to front an exciting new show on Channel 5.
Paul Martin has worked with the channel since 2002 hosting shows such as Flog It!, Trust Me I'm A Dealer and Paul Martin's Handmade Revolution.
But now the presenter, 64, will be fronting a new series called Antiques Showdown on Channel 5.
It will sees contestants compete in games as Paul battles local dealers across the UK.
He told The Sun: 'I was very privileged and honoured to be asked by Channel 5 to front an exciting new antiques programme for them. It's very exciting.

'We have a valuation day in a historic building somewhere around the UK. We try to vary it up and go to different regions, which is quite exciting and nice.
'It's kind of armchair travel for the viewers at home. There's some highs and lows in every show, so it's good, because there's a twist.'
He explained that in the show they will go to a stately home, museum, civic centre or a town hall where members of the public turn up
