The actor, 59, is set to play himself in the multiplayer horror video game Dead by Daylight.
Cage's role in the game was unveiled in a haunting new trailer which dropped Wednesday.
The trailer begins with flickers of an torn apart set, before a very life-like rendering of the actor appears on the screen and glares at the camera.

The game has been given an 'M' rating for blood, gore, intense violence and strong language.
According to For The Win, Cage will be playing himself, whose acting skills have taken him through the fog and into the video game.
He is set to be a sole survivor, and his character is equipped with skills 'inspired by acting and the idea of getting into a role', according to the site.
It's the latest role Cage has landed in recent days.
Cage will be heading back to the battlefield as he is set to star in a Lord of War sequel film.
