'The clothes are a huge part of this movie, and a huge part of Barbie,' she said.

'Like everything in the Barbie, it's super superficial—but it's incredibly profound at the same time. Everything in this movie had to be authentically artificial.'

She also noted that Barbie was the first woman doll, and she also did everything for herself, like she had her own house, her own car, her own career.

And she noted in the film everything in the film had to be super fake and be consistent.

Margot said she loves her cover of Vogue because it is so Barbie.

In the new video, Robbie looks back on some of her top looks.

'I actually pitched the studio [the sequel] Birds of Prey, whilst we were shooting the first Suicide Squad; I really wanted to see Harley in a girl gang.'
