Jason Sudeikis proudly tries out hometown hot sauce Da Bomb Beyond Insanity ... trends now

Jason Sudeikis tried out his hometown hot sauce Da Bomb Beyond Insanity on Thursday's season premiere of the YouTube interview show Hot Ones.

The 47-year-old actor was interviewed by Hot Ones host Sean Evans, 37, as they ate 10 increasingly spicier hot wings together during the season 21 premiere.

The show's signature hot sauce Da Bomb from Spicin' Foods in Kansas City, Kansas, was their eighth wing and Jason, who was raised in Overland Park, Kansas, was ready for it.

'Let's go Kansas City, Kansas. This is the side I'm from, you know for those that care for the distinction,' said the Ted Lasso star who wore a blue sweatshirt and brown newsboy cap on the show.

Jason bit into his hot wing as dramatic music played in the background and a graphic revealed Da Bomb Beyond Insanity hot sauce had a Scoville level of 135,600.

'Yeah, what the hell,' Jason said as the taste kicked in. 'Oh, lord. Yeah, man. And there's two more.'

A fiery graphic read, 'Welcome to Hell Moment' as Jason reached for his napkin.

'Yeah man, that's crazy. I know this is like this is one everybody talks about, but yeah,' Jason said while drinking a glass of water.

Sean participated in the Big Slick charity event last year that Jason co-founded to benefit Children's Mercy Kansas City and they marveled at the support from restaurants.

'It's amazing the way the city surrounds us and supports us,' Jason said.

Sean asked him to describe his ideal Kansas City barbecue crawl and Jason rattled off his local favorites, including: Gates, Kansas City Joe's, Q-39 and Arthur Bryant's Barbecue.

Jason after tasting Da Bomb was asked by Sean if it was 'a point of pride or an abomination?'

'I think it's absolutely a point of pride,' Jason answered.
