Channel Seven's The Chase Australia has become one of the country's biggest entertainment shows.
The quiz show, which has been a consistent ratings winner for the network over the last 18 months, scored a massive metro audience of 567,000 viewers on Tuesday.
It was an astounding performance for the brain-twister compared to its prime time rivals, pulling a bigger audience than Channel 10's MasterChef and Nine's The Hot Seat.
Host Larry Emdur celebrated the win by taking to social media to pay tribute to the show's fans.
'Thank you for making The Chase the No. 1 entertainment show in Australia last night,' he wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.
