Britney Spears has made amends with her 'sweet mama' Lynne Spears after they held a 30 minute peace talk at her home in Los Angeles.
Lynne flew in from Louisiana on Wednesday in a bid to heal their family rift after years of dissension between them stemming from the 13-year conservatorship Britney lived under.
It's believed the pair had not had any contact since the conservatorship - controlled by Jamie Spears - was abolished in November 2021.
After Lynne was pictured waiting outside the pop star's home, Britney broke her silence on the meeting, taking to Instagram on Thursday to give fans an update.
Alongside a childhood snap of herself, Britney revealed that she felt 'blessed we were able to try to make things right', noting that 'time heals all wounds.'

Britney penned: 'My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years … it's been such a long time. With family there's always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!!
'And after being able to communicate what I've held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!!I love you so much !! [sic]'
According to TMZ, the ...Baby One More Time hitmaker didn't know when to expect Lynne but knew she was in town to see her, and let her into the house - where her husband Sam Asghari was also present - to catch up.
