Jason Manford made a fan's evening as he treated her to a free ticket to see Brokeback Mountain on the West End on Thursday evening.
The comedian - who celebrated his 42nd birthday the following day - took to Twitter to issue a plea after revealing he'd been 'let down' by a friend and had an extra ticket to see the new performance.
Thankfully, Hannah Fox, one of Jason's 455,700 followers saw the tweet and jumped at the chance, leading to a 'bizarre but brilliant evening.'
Jason's initial tweet read: 'Right, random, but I’ve been let down so is anyone in central London right now and want to come and see Brokeback Mountain the musical tonight!
'I have an extra ticket. Soho Place theatre, 7.30! No weirdos, you buy the snacks! ❤️'

After Hannah announced she was only 18 minutes away from the venue and 'not a weirdo', Jason was all too happy to offer her the spare ticket.
As another fan praised him for the kind gesture, Jason - who has performed on the West End himself several times - reasoned: 'I just couldn’t stand for the performers to look out and see an empty seat and also hate wasting money!'
