Simon Cowell took a hilarious swipe at Alesha Dixon on Saturday's Britain's Got Talent as he stated that a dog performing one of her songs was 'better than the original'.
The final round of auditions saw hopefuls try to impress Simon, Alesha, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli in the hope of bagging a place in the live semi-final rounds.
But when dog owner Michelle and her pet pooch Mouse took to the stage with a performance of Alesha's 2008 track Breathe Slow, Simon couldn't help but making a dig at her singing abilities.
Giving his verdict on Mouse's audition, Simon said: 'When I heard the song I thought it can't be any better, but actually it's better than the original!
'I don't usually say this, I'm being serious!'
