How long can Holly cling on for? Willoughby's PR team will 'need to come up ... trends now

Holly Willoughby's team will 'need to come up with the goods' amid the fallout from her former co-host Phillip Schofield's scandalous admission that he had an affair with a much younger man.

The star has been keen to distance herself from her ex-'bestie' following his shock confession, as the Mail revealed that he met the younger man when he was just 15.

Holly, who had shared the This Morning sofa with Schofield for 13 years, said in a statement that he denied reports of the fling to her, and that it had been 'very hurtful to now find out that this was a lie'.

Now the team behind ITV's golden girl, including her advisers, agents and lawyers, will need to deliver to guarantee her future, a PR guru has claimed.

The bubbly daytime TV host, who has reportedly been labelled ITV's 'great hope' after Schofield was ousted from the show, is currently on a two week early holiday with her family.

'What she does next, her PR advisers, agents, and lawyers are going to have to come up with the goods,' he explained.
