Matty Healy rebelliously refused to directly comment on his relationship with Taylor Swift as he opened his band The 1975's set at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee, Scotland on Saturday.

The group's frontman, 34, nonchalantly alluded to the romance but refused to mention Taylor's name or say anything more on their apparent union.

Addressing the crowd at the event, Matty said: 'Is it all a bit? Is it sincere? Will he ever address it? All of these questions and more will be ignored in the next hour. Ladies and gentleman, this is The 1975.'

Musician Matty was seen on stage in a white lab coat while he held a bottle of red wine in his hand, as his supportive mother, Loose Women star Denice Welch, watched from the side of the stage.

Singer Matty is said to be planning on moving in with Taylor after just weeks of dating.
