Ant McPartlin slips live on stage in chaotic entrance on first Britain's Got ... trends now

Britain's Got Talent got off to a chaotic start on Monday night, as Ant McPartlin  accidentally slipped over on stage.

The first live semi-final kicked off with hosts Ant and Declan Donnelly introducing the four judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.

They then surprised the audience with their special guests, 2009 BGT winners Diversity who performed on stage.

At the end dance troupe leader Ashley Banjo ran forward as Ant and Dec came running to join him.

But Ant's feet slipped right out from under him and he slammed to the floor in a hilarious entrance.
