Viewers were left horrified and unable to finish the iconic gothic horror cult Rosemary's Baby - as the movie makes a huge comeback across social media.

The 1968's offbeat cult film directed by disgraced director Roman Polanski was ranked by Forbes as the second best classic horror of all time, right after Hitchcock's Psycho.

Mia Farrow stars as Rosemary Woodhouse, a young mother who is forced to give birth to the son of the devil - after being abused, drugged and tortured by a Satanic cult, who will eventually try to steal her baby.

As the freaky movie made a significant revival recently, people took to social media to comment on how disturbing the movie is.

A user wrote on Twitter: 'To this day, I cannot watch Rosemary's Baby. It freaks me out way too much.'
