Lauren Goodger appears downcast as she steps out in Essex after inquest trends now
Lauren Goodger cut a solemn figure as she stepped out in Essex in the wake of her late ex-boyfriend's inquest, following his tragic death last year.
The former TOWIE star, 36, was seen leaving the gym as she remained steely face shortly after it was revealed that Jake McLean was nearly three times over the drink-drive limit and had taken cocaine when he was killed in a horror car crash.
The crash happened when the 33-year-old's Mercedes E-class careered off a bend and landed upside down in a ravine near the city of Bodrum in Turkey last year, also leaving passenger and fellow TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou seriously hurt.
An inquest into his death has since revealed he died of 'traumatic head injuries'.
Speaking at his inquest in Walthamstow last week, coroner Dr Shirley Ratcliffe said: 'The post mortem found no natural disease, as you would expect in a young man of 33. The cause of death was skull fractures and brain damage.

'As far as I can see, he was driving under the influence nearly three times over the legal limit for driving and had cocaine in his system. My conclusion is that this is an RTC [road traffic collision].'
When asked by Mr McLean's mother Anita Walsh if there were any more details, Dr Ratcliffe said: 'Turkey is not the most helpful — it’s taken almost a year to get the post mortem.'
