Wednesday star Percy Hynes White has broken his silence after sexual misconduct allegations were made against him in January.

The actor, 21, who plays Xavier Thorpe on the Netflix show, was accused of predatory behavior towards women in a series of now-deleted Tweets. This sparked the rise of the #CancelPercy hashtag and calls for him to be sacked from the Tim Burton show.

In a Tuesday Instagram post, the star hit back at the 'baseless, harmful claims' and denied all allegations against him.

He wrote:  'Hey everyone. There’s something I need to clarify. Earlier this year, somebody I’ve never met started a campaign of misinformation about me online. 

'Because of this, my family has been doxed, and my friends have received death threats.
