Bam Margera has been RELEASED from psychiatric hospital and is headed to Lamar ... trends now
Bam Margera was released from a psychiatric hospital Wednesday, after he was taken in on a 5150 psychiatric hold, and went directly into a rehab center ran by Lamar Odom.
The 43-year-old TV personality, sources told TMZ, was personally greeted by Odom, 43, as he was released from the hospital and is headed to detox at one of the Odom Wellness Treatment Centers ran by the NBA alum.
The Viva La Bam star is currently detoxing at one of Odom's facilities, and after that process is complete, will head to another spot Odom owns.
Odom on Tuesday visited the Jackass alum at the medical facility he was being held in to extend the offer to stay at one of his facilities amid his times of trouble.
Odom was 'serious' about his offer of help to Margera, insiders told TMZ, adding that the one-time MTV star was 'receptive to going to rehab' and 'hugged it out' with Odom in the meeting.

Odom has opened up a trio of treatment facilities nationwide, with two of them based in Southern California, the outlet reported. They include Project West in San Diego, Wavelengths in Huntington Beach, California, and Gold Bridge Addiction Center in Louisburg, Kansas.
It was not immediately clear which facility Margera was taken to after his release from the hospital.
Insiders told the outlet that Margera is focused on rehabilitating himself for the sake of his five-year-old son Phoenix, who he shares with estranged wife Nicole Boyd, 39.
Margera on Sunday was located by authorities at a Trejo's Tacos location in Los Angeles and taken in for a 5150 psychiatric hold after he took to social media threatening to end his life if he could not reunite with his son.
Margera had taken to social media Thursday in a clip he later deleted, claiming he would 'smoke crack' until he died unless he was able to see his son.
'I haven't seen Phoenix in two f***ing months,' Margera said. 'I have to wake up every day, knowing that I probably won't get to talk to him or see him.'
In the clip, Margera was critical of Boyd for not letting him speak to their son, as well as his parents April and Phil Margera, saying they spurred him to drink.
'I'm going to smoke crack with the bums down at the f***ing boardwalk until I'm dead unless you deliver me f***ing Phoenix,' he said in the clip. 'Get to work Nikki, or anyone that wants to help. I want Phoenix.'
