But Fifty Shades Of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson and her husband, James Bond contender Aaron, have proved that an age difference of 24 years is no barrier to love.
Sam, 56, and Aaron, 32, were spotted walking together in sporty attire in London.
The couple met in 2008 when Aaron was cast as John Lennon in Nowhere Boy, which was Sam’s directorial debut.
They have two daughters, aged 11 and 12. Sam also has two daughters with her ex-husband, art mogul Jay Jopling.
