Emmerdale viewers praised Claire King as her 'iconic' Emmerdale character Kim Tate plotted to take cold revenge against Caleb Milligan in Thursday's dramatic episode.

Scheming Caleb (William Ash) had been convinced he was going to get away with stealing Kim's fortune but in Wednesday's episode it emerged Kim knew everything about his cruel plan.

After Caleb was caught looking at Kim's bank account, she told him she'd squirrelled her money away where he would never be able to find it, calling on Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) to support her as she pressurised him into telling the truth.

Caleb revealed he was in fact the son of Frank Tate, meaning he was the secret heir to Kim's Home Farm, and he'd been plotting to claim what he thought was his with the help of his son Nicky (Lewis Cope) who left fiancée Gabby (Rosie Bentham) at the alter as she learned he was in fact gay and using her as a way in to the Tate family.

While Caleb walked away from Home Farm after his interrogation, it recently emerged he is to be killed off in upcoming scenes, and, as Kim comforted a devastated Gabby, the businesswomen declared in reference to Caleb and Nicky: 'The gun is already loaded and my finger is on the trigger.'
