Rising Sun Karate, a karate school once owned by late Power Rangers star Jason David Frank, is being sued for $47,347 in rent that has not been paid.

The Valencia, California-based karate dojo, according to TMZ, faces a lawsuit from the landlord, the Valencia Marketplace, claiming that the rent has not been paid in the months since Frank's November 19, 2022 death.

According to legal docs reviewed by the outlet, the Valencia Marketplace, the mall where the school is located, says that leases for the dojo were initially signed 25 years ago, in 1998.

The Valencia Marketplace said that tenants ceased paying rent in late 2022, around the time of Frank's tragic suicide at the age of 49.

Marketplace officials said in legal docs that the dojo was served with documents in March detailing the delinquent balance, but no money has been paid.
