Matt Shirvington cuts a gloomy figure as the new Sunrise host heads to Kochie's ... trends now
He's just been handed the keys to Australia's top-rating breakfast TV show.
But newly-appointed Sunrise host Matt Shirvington, 44, looked far from happy about his new job when he was spotted walking to predecessor David 'Kochie' Koch's farewell lunch on Friday afternoon.
The retired Olympian appeared to scowl as he walked through Sydney's CBD, with hands thrust into the pockets of his dark trousers.
Shirvington was rugged up in a heavy coat worn over a gray linen dress shirt as he head out for lunch at the upmarket Grana eatery.
He complete the look with a pair of clean white sneakers.

Joining 'Shirvo' at the fancy lunch catch-up were Kochie, Sunrise co-host Natalie Barr and former co-host Mel Doyle, amongst others.
The gloomy photos come after Kochie jokingly 'snubbed' his replacement Shirvo as he stepped on the set of Sunrise for the final time on Friday, after hosting the show for 21 years.
Kochie, 67, was greeted with applause, hugs and well wishes from the Sunrise team and his family as they formed a guard of honour when he walked into the Channel Seven studios.
