The musical sitcom The Partridge Family will be rebooted as a children's animated series.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the program is being retooled for modern audiences along with several other properties from Sony Pictures Television.
The new version of the classic show, whose former star Danny Bonaduce recently underwent brain surgery, will be centered on a Black family residing in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.
The family members also operate a food truck that travels through New York City's five boroughs, where they feed and entertain various communities.
The project is currently in the early development stage, and no writers have been attached as of yet.
