Eamonn Holmes appears to have taken another swipe at This Morning after slamming former host Phillip Scofield and his ex co-star Holly Willoughby.

The broadcaster, 63, has been very vocal of his resentments with the show and the presenters after he too co-presented the programme with wife Ruth Langsford on Fridays from 2006 to 2021.

And on Saturday, Eamonn could not resist sticking the knife in once again, in what seemed to be a clear dig at the ITV show.

While canvassing for votes for his GB News show Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel ahead of an upcoming awards show, he wrote on Instagram: 'Let's face it ... It doesn't get more real than us! Your support for Isabel and me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.'

Eamonn hosts the morning slot along with Isabel Webster, with their show being nominated for the Best News Programme 20203 at the National Reality TV Awards.

It comes after Eamonn launched a fresh attack on Phillip this week, insisting he doesn't believe the former ITV star's claim that he has made 'one mistake' in his 40-year career.

In a bombshell interview last week Phillip said he believed his career was over and he had 'lost everything' after admitting he lied about his relationship with a man who worked on This Morning.

Speaking on his GB News programme on Monday, Phillip's former colleague Eamonn
