Chris Cuomo has branded acting legend Sylvester Stallone a 'cartoonish fool' in a bizarre rant during an appearance on The Adam Friedland Show on Wednesday.

The disgraced former CNN anchor, 52, laid into the Rocky star, 76, and said he 'doesn't  love' any of his legendary characters in the candid chat.

The chat began when Friedland asked if his former co-worker Wolf Blitzer ever had his 'penis out under the desk' to which Cuomo responded 'no, I called him ‘the captain’ when I was there. He was the exemplar of everything we wanted to be. The guy works his ass off and he’s a good man.'

Friedland responded: 'He’s like a Stallone character' to which Cuomo replied: [But] instead of being a cartoonish fool, Blitzer is just an earnest good guy.'

A quizzical Friedland asked:  'You’re anti-Stallone?' to which Cuomo said he 'didn't love' the characters the Oscar winner has played.
