Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict went public and announced their separation last October after more than 14 years of marriage.

Some eight months on, and the former couple have since worked out the details of their divorce, which includes taking pre-planned steps in how they each raise their children in two separate homes, according to the legal documents obtained by People.

Among the details in the document: a timeline on when each of them can introduce future romance partners to their two children: son Cree, 11, and daughter Cairo, five.

'Absent agreement to the contrary, each party is restrained from introducing the minor children to a new romantic partner until that party has been in an exclusive relationship with the romantic partner for at least six months,' the stipulation read.

Both Mowry and Hardrict will also have to refrain from having any of their love interests from spending overnights at their respective homes whenever the children are present during the first six months of the exclusive relationship.

The six-month timelines regarding new romantic partners was said to be in 'the best interest of the children,' it read in the document.

They also agreed to keep a previous agreement — to share legal and physical custody of their children — in tact, which was originally proposed by Mowry in an October court filing.

Mowry, 44, and Hardrict, 47, who met on the set of their film Hollywood Horror (2005), also 'entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support.'

The Sister Sister alum announced their separation publicly in a heartfelt Instagram post that included a black-and-white photo of the pair staring deep into each other's eyes, with looks of concern on their faces.

'I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways,' she began. 'These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children.'

Showing respect and class she added: 'I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.'

Around the time they were finalizing the divorce in April, the actress shared several photos of herself with her two kids, some of which included her opening up about her thoughts and emotions on her changing family dynamic.

In one selfie, with the sun shining on her as her dark hair was pulled into a sleek ponytail, she wrote: 'It's a beautiful Monday.'
