Mae Muller has detailed the 'traumatising' emotional and physical abuse she suffered from an ex-boyfriend when she was just 15 years old.
The singer, 25, who represented the UK at Eurovision this year, candidly opened up about the harrowing ordeal and how it has influenced her life and her music career.
Speaking on the How To Fail With Elizabeth Day podcast, Mae told how she suffered horrific abuse from an ex, who she dated for nearly three years from the age of 15.
Mae confessed the relationship 'traumatised' her for life and influenced the way she saw love and how she viewed herself for many years.
'My first relationship, I was 15 so my brain probably hadn't fully developed yet and I was with him for two and a half years,' she said.
