And the comedian, 48, and his pregnant wife, 36, looked in good spirits as they were seen for the first time since the announcement was made.
Heading out for a day out shopping in London on Thursday, the couple stayed close to one another, with Russell wrapping an arm around his radiant partner's shoulder.
Laura put her burgeoning baby bump on display in a fitted white top that she paired with navy trousers and suede shoes.
The mother-to-be radiated with a healthy pregnancy glow as she went makeup-free on the outing and with her hair swept up in a bun.

Russell's outing came after he revealed they were expecting their third child on "The Diary of a CEO podcast.
Russell, who is proud dad to daughters Mabel, six, and Peggy, four, gave a rare insight into fatherhood and at one point, broke down in tears.
Stephen told him: 'You fell in love and you've got two children. You've got a third on the way, around the corner. That's a very special love you have found.'
