Shania Twain was recognized for making country music history at the World's Most Famous Arena.

During Tuesday night's show at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Twain took a time out to acknowledge her third studio album, Come On Over (1997), had become the highest-selling LP by a female country artist

Longtime friend, and Today show host, Hoda Kotb was by her side when a framed double diamond platinum record was presented to her, which marks 20 million albums sold.

She then went on to break the news that she will be reissuing a new version of Come On Over on August 25.

And in a first for Twain and Kota, the two ladies would also share the stage for a performance of You're Still The One, the third single off the monumental album that went on to win Grammy's for Best Female Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song in 1998.

'Hoda, after all these years of knowing you, we're finally going to sing together,' the country music superstar said before the two sang the song's chorus.

'20 million albums are heavy,' Twain, 57, joked to her fans with Kotb standing a couple of feet to her right when she took a time out to make a few announcements.

'It's incredible what has happened with this album [Come On Over]. And that all of you are still here after all these years supporting me,' she said.

Twain also shared that 2023 also 'marks the 25th anniversary of the release of Come On Over, and then proceeded to whip up the crowd into a frenzy with the announcement that she was going to be releasing a 'reissue of this album.'

Twain then proceeded to give thanks to her loyal fans for all the success she's had over the last four decades.

'It's really amazing how music can go this whole cycle and live through generations... and that's of course all because of and thanks to you,' she said while fans cheered loudly.

The Windsor, Ontario, Canada native would also reflect back on the making of the album when she announced the release date for the reissue in the caption of the clip.
