Megan Gale has come out swinging against a troll who criticised her for posting a string of sponsored posts on Instagram over the weekend.
The Australian supermodel, 47, recently travelled to Western Australia with her family as part of a paid advertisement deal, and has spent the past week uploading eight Instagram posts in a row promoting Tourism WA.
After Megan used her page to promote a pearl farm in Broome on Sunday, one critic commented: 'Another paid post.'
Clearly upset by this, Megan responded by penning a lengthy rant in which she defended her line of work as an influencer.
'I have been doing this job - working with and representing brands and businesses - for 30 years now. 1993 - 2023. For that entire time, my job has consisted of partnering with brands and showcasing them in various forms of media,' she wrote.

Megan explained that over the years, she has adapted her job from promoting brands in magazines and on television to spruiking products on social media.
