Australian designers battling to dress Delta Goodrem on her wedding day ... trends now

She's the iconic pop star known for her impeccable red carpet style. 

So it's no wonder Delta Goodrem, 38, has sent the Australian fashion industry ablaze with the news of her engagement to longtime boyfriend Matthew Copley, 36, on Thursday.

Bridal designers are apparently desperate for a chance to dress Australia's pop princess on her big day, with one industry insider suggesting she may choose several designers to collaborate on a single gown. 

'I personally think she might choose a few of us to dress her. She works very closely with a few of us [local designers],' Velani designer Nicky Apostolopoulos told Sunday Confidential.

Apostolopoulos, who regularly dresses Delta for the red carpet, believes with Born To Fly hitmaker will opt for a floaty, bohemian bridal gown to reflect her 'laid back' style.
