The One Day At A Time actress, 63, looked vibrant and slender on the cover of Indulge: Delicious and Decadent Dishes to Enjoy and Share.

'I no longer deny myself and instead indulge in the entire experience of cooking,' Bertinelli told People. The actress is big on body positivity.

'I have spent more than a decade changing my relationship with food,' the Food Network star added.

'All big leaps require baby steps, patience, forgiveness and a desire to grow and change.'

'This cookbook marks the journey that I—and so many of us—have taken to get to this place where I no longer deny myself,' she added.

And she said she has a desire to share what she makes with those she loves.

There are 100 recipes to 'nourish the body and the soul,' per an official description from HarperCollins Publishers imprint Harvest.

And the Hot In Cleveland star also shared that the weight loss is just one of the great 'side effects' of her alcohol-free plan.

The star said: 'These jeans that I'm wearing were so tight a few months ago that I couldn't comfortably button them. Now, they're so loose it's time for me to go down a size.'
