Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills: Kyle Richards reveals she needed 'freedom and ... trends now

Kyle Richards admitted that she and husband Mauricio Umansky were going through a rough patch on Wednesday's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The 54-year-old reality star also was surprised during the season 13 episode when  Mauricio's mother questioned her about what was going on between them.

'This is what people talk about when they go through a rough time,' Kyle said in a confessional. 'Well, here we are. It's been rough.'

Kyle and Mauricio, 53, who announced their separation in July, were hosting a 15th birthday party for their daughter Portia with all their family and Kyle was stressed. She said in a confessional she hadn't felt like she was on the same page with Mauricio.

'I think he's poured his heart and soul into The Agency,' Kyle said in a confessional referencing Mauricio's ever-expanding real estate firm. 'So it's the other woman.'

Mauricio's mother Estella pulled Kyle aside and asked if everything was okay between her and Mauricio.

'Yeah,' Kyle said.

'Every time I open Google there is something about you guys separating, divorcing, whatever,' Estella said. 'Generally, I don't believe these things, but it's too much.'

'I was seen without my wedding ring and people started the rumor,' Kyle said.

Kyle said in a confessional that she had taken the ring off because she had been lifting weights and was taken aback by her mother-in-law questioning her. Kyle then blurted out to Estella that Mauricio had a tattoo and he got angry at her saying that it was his personal information that she revealed after not knowing how many tattoos Kyle has.

The episode titled An Unwise Surprise opened with Dorit Kemsley, 47, meeting with Erika Jayne, 52, for a picnic in the park. Dorit said she was upset that Erika didn't immediately apologize for saying on stage at BravoCon that Dorit and Paul 'PK' Kemsley, 56, were the next to split.

'What I did was wrong,' Erika said. 'I have to fix that with you.'

Dorit thanked her and said she had a really difficult year and didn't feel supported by her husband. She then shared details about a scary robbery incident that happened last Christmas after the home invasion that left her even more shaken. She said it happened when she withdrew money from the bank.

'I took out $10,000 so I could have some money for Christmas gifts,' Dorit said in a confessional. ' I had my handbag in the shopping cart. When I got to the register, I realized that my handbag was gone.'

Dorit said the police reviewed the video surveillance and saw that she had been followed by three men.

'That threw me right back into the throes of PTSD,' Dorit said.

Erika said she wanted them to move forward and the two of them hugged.

Sutton Stracke, 52, called Garcelle Beauvais, 56, to chat about planning an amazing 40th birthday trip for Crystal Kung Minkoff. Sutton hoped she could start fresh with Crystal. 

Sutton had a matchmaker named Alessandra meet her at her house because the dating apps were not working for her.

'At this point, she's my only hope,' Sutton said.
