EastEnders cast team up with Nick Knowles for special DIY SOS episode ... trends now
Perry Fenwick, Scott Maslen, Gillian Wright and Zaraah Abrahams joined the host and volunteers for a new project in Harlow, Essex - where they are helping create a new home for Butterfly Effect Well-Being.
Butterfly Effect Well-Being is a community project to bring people together and improve mental health but has been operating out of a portable cabin.
That was until the non-profit community was gifted an empty building by the local council.
However the building is in a state of disrepair and needs extensive internal and external works to make it fit for purpose, which is where Nick and the EastEnders team come in.

For this project the EastEnders team were happy to help but it is not clear if the cast have a personal connection with the project.
Zaraah, 36, looked effortlessly stylish for her day of hard graft as she donned a cream trench coat over a black top and jeans.
The actress - who took over the role Chelsea Fox from Tiana Benjamin in 2020 in the soap - finished off the look with brown boots.
Gillian, 63, who plays the much-loved Jean Slater, wrapped up against the cold in a khaki coat and donned navy leggings.
Perry, 61, donned a lightweight black jacket with trainers and rocked a black pork pie hat.
Meanwhile Scott, 52, donned an olive jacket and a knitted light grey jumper.
