Producer Julian Cress has confirmed the 20th season of The Block Australia will take place on Phillip Island.
The location for next season of the renovation show has been up in the air ever since producers were forced to pull the plug on their planned Daylesford renovations.
Now, the new luxury location has been locked in with next year's contestants set to film at a resort on Phillip Island, reported TV Tonight.
'The mayor of Phillip Island recently posted we were bringing the show down there. I'm as thrilled as he is,' Julian told the online publication.
'We obviously had our location previously lined up for Daylesford but that blew up. We were very, very lucky to be able to find a magnificent site in Phillip Island.'

He continued: 'So far, from what I've seen, the feedback from the audience and the fans who've heard that we're going there, they're all thrilled to bits.'
