The Golden Bachelor: Gerry Turner, 72, tearfully flees rose ceremony and leaves ... trends now
Gerry Turner couldn't go through with handing out the final rose and sending someone home on Thursday's episode of The Golden Bachelor on ABC.
'I feel like I'm going to throw up,' Gerry, 72, said. 'Having to send someone home is gut wrenching.'
Right before the rose ceremony, Gerry said he was in love with three women and was confused about what he would do.
'I am in an impossible situation right now,' Gerry said. 'I honestly have no idea how I'm going to decide.'
Gerry was clearly torn when he faced the three women after going on Hometown dates with all of them.

'These Hometowns mean more than just the three of you and more than just me,' Gerry said. 'Now families are involved, and that makes it all that much harder.'
Gerry handed out the first rose to Leslie Fhima, 64, a fitness instructor from Golden Valley, Minnesota, but then broke down crying and said he needed a minute.
While making his decision, Gerry left Faith Martin, 61, a high school teacher from Benton City, Washington, and Theresa Nist, 70, a financial services professional from Shrewsbury, New Jersey, just standing there waiting.
The Hometown's episode started with Gerry excited to go to each of the three remaining women's hometowns. Instead of meeting the women's parents, he said he would be meeting their children.
'This is a critical week,' Gerry said. 'I'm in uncharted waters here. My feelings for each woman are strong. I only want to say ''I Love You'' to one more person in my lifetime. I hope I am able to sort my feelings out and do the right thing.'
Gerry's first stop was Theresa's hometown in New Jersey. The two ran to each other and hugged.
'I have to tell you that I have not introduced any man to my family since my husband passed away,' Theresa said.
'I know it's a big step,' Gerry said.

Theresa's daughter Jen was excited to meet Gerry.
'The anticipation is killing me,' Jen said.
Gerry walked in and met Theresa's sisters, her daughter and her husband and their kids.
'Hello everybody,' Gerry said,
Gerry and Theresa sat side by side laughing.
'She would love to get married again,' Jen said to the camera. 'I really want this for her. I mean, I'm hopeful. I'm really hopeful.'
Theresa told her two sisters Charlotte and Mary that she felt a connection with Gerry from the very beginning. Theresa said there were still two other women that Gerry had strong feelings for also competing for his heart.
'I'm 70 and I'm competing with 60 year olds,' Theresa said. 'I'm really starting to fall in love with him.'
