And Lizzie Cundy was rubbing shoulders with bona fide royalty on Thursday as she enjoyed a meeting with Queen Camilla during a visit to the Field Of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey in London. 

The star, 55, swapped her trademark racy looks for a demure pencil dress and chic faux fur coat as she greeted the wife of King Charles, 76.

Following Royal protocol, Lizzie curtsied while greeting the Queen and gently shook her hand during the unlikely meeting. 

Never one to do things by halves, Lizzie pledged her allegiance to her country by pairing her look with a whopping three poppies as she met Camilla.

Camilla looked elegant in her first appearance at Westminster Abbey since the Coronation in May, as she paid respect to the fallen. 

She was wearing a a green Rifles coat designed by Fiona Clare alongside a cape from Amanda Wakeley for the sombre event. 

The ceremony began with prayers led by Dean of Westminster the Very Rev Dr David Hoyle and the Right Rev Anthony Ball, who is the rector of St Margaret’s.

Following this, the Queen placed a wooden cross adorned with a red poppy into a larger cross made from the red flowers associated with the First World War.
