Teen Mom's Jenelle Evans and husband David Eason currently have NO contact with ... trends now
Jenelle Evans' son Jace is maintaining radio silence with his mother and his stepfather David Eason.
The 14-year-old boy has reportedly had no contact with the 31-year-old Teen Mom 2 star or her husband David since he was moved out of their home and sent to live with Jenelle's mother Barbara again.
And the new arrangement seems to be benefiting the teenage boy, who has been happier than he has been in recent weeks, according to sources with direct knowledge who spoke to TMZ.
Jace was moved out of his mother and stepfather's home after David was accused of injuring him and was charged with a misdemeanor count of child abuse.
Although Jace is back living under Barbara's roof — where he has lived for much of his life — he is technically under the custody of Child Protective Services, which removed him from his mother and stepfather's home.
Radio silence: Jenelle Evans' son Jace, 14, has had no contact with her or her husband David Eason since he was removed from their home by CPS and sent to live with his grandmother Barbara again
According to the same sources, Barbara — who has had a tempestuous relationship with Jenelle over the years — is also not in touch with her daughter or David.
So far, the sources say that Jace is happy to be with his grandmother again, and he reportedly feels like he's home finally.
His comfort with Barbara isn't surprising, as he has lived with her most of his life, while it was only early in 2023 that Jenelle regained custody of him from her mother.
Jace appears to have been out of school since August, when he ran away after the end of the school day. However, he's now attending a new school.
While Jace is staying away from the rest of his family, David will be required to go to court later in November to address the misdemeanor child abuse charge.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, he is accused of injuring Jace in a way that left 'marks on the right art and left and right side of [his] neck.'
The documents also state that Jace's alleged 'injuries weren't sustained by accident.'
The alleged incident is said to have taken place on September 28 — the same night Jace was reported missing for a third time after he slipped out of a window.

Cutting them out: Jace's grandmother Barbara (L) has also reportedly had no communication with Jenelle or David since Jace returned to live with her. He has spent most of his life in her custody; seen in 2015 in LA

Police were called to Evans' home at around 8 p.m., where the reality star told officers Jace had left the home — which is surrounded by woods — and didn't have a cell phone with him. He was later found safe.
This comes after Evans claimed late last month that there was no arrest warrant against Eason.
Evans said that the reporting around Eason is 'getting insane at this point.'
Evans' complaint came after a court clerk in the couple's native North Carolina told The U.S. Sun Wednesday that records indicated a warrant for Eason's arrest which had not yet been served.
The clerk told the outlet of Eason: 'I don't see anything that has been served. But there is a warrant out for his arrest.'
Evans accompanied her message with a short clip in which she sang along with the 2018 Snow Tha Product single Today I Decided.
Evans on Tuesday said in exclusive comments to DailyMail.com that the charge 'doesn't have anything to do with' Eason and claimed police were 'looking into the wrong person right now.'
Evans shares Jace with ex Andrew Lewis and is also mother to son Kaiser, nine, with ex Nathan Griffith; and daughter Ensley, six, with Eason.
Since Jace's three attempts to run away, he has returned to the care of his maternal grandmother Barbara Evans, with whom he has lived for much of his life.

Response: Evans advised her followers not to believe reports coming from certain outlets or Teen Mom fan pages, saying 'they get stupid sources and don't fact check [beforehand]'

Evans said that 'there is a vile situation going on and it’s not pertaining my husband. This story is one sided and no interviews were conducted asking what happened when the "incident" occurred.
She added: 'I cannot say any details at this time because this is about my son’s mental health, not about my husband and I cannot stress that enough.
'Our time will come in court and we will have our day to present the evidence that has been adding up since 2017, and again it doesn’t have anything to do with my husband. I would love privacy at this time for my own mental health and my family’s well-being.'
The charge is a misdemeanor, TMZ reported in October, adding that the probe against the Oak Island, North Carolina native and her husband began after Jace's third disappearance.
In a clip she filmed on Monday and posted to TikTok last month, Jenelle slammed her mother, complained about getting harassed on social media, and physically stood by the side of Eason, who was seen in the closing seconds of the clip.
In her social media post, Jenelle said that she was getting a lot of 'feedback' on her social media posts and came to the conclusion that her followers hate her.
'I’m just getting so much harassment and I’m being called a piece of s*** mom
