My Kitchen Rules is back for a new season in 2024.

The cooking show, which has suffered a ratings decline, announced a casting call for next year's series on Instagram with a link to the application page.

Applicants need to be Australian citizens or permanent residents, and apply together with their team mate as the contestants compete in teams of two.

Both team members need to have an existing relationship and are required to submit a series of pictures together or a three-minute video.

The application page also gives some suggestions about what questions to address in the video submission, including 'what do you love about cooking?' and 'why should you, as a team, be part of the show?'
