Strictly stars Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell headed home from rehearsals on Tuesday after an intense 14-hour session ahead of this weekend's semi-final.

The EastEnders star appeared in great spirits as he left the studio beaming while dressed in a black jumper and grey jogging bottoms.

Bobby, 20, was closely followed by his professional partner Dianne, 34, who also beamed from ear to ear while donning a black leather jacket with brown fur lining.

The pair will perform two dances this week as the pressure mounts towards the end of the competition.

Yet it seems one former Strictly star believes the dance couple are being 'overmarked' after they received a 34 out of 40 for their salsa to (I've Had) The Time Of My Life from the hit 1987 movie Dirty Dancing on Saturday.

Former Strictly dance professional Brendan Cole revealed that what the judges see compared to what the viewers see are two very different things, and he didn't agree with the couple's scores.

The dancer, who starred on the show between 2004 to 2018, told Sky Bingo: 'Bobby [Brazier] shouldn't have had anywhere near 34, but that's the nature of the beast. What the judges see and what we see on television is often different. It's not always that easy to compare the two.

'In the studio you get a hyped audience, you get the audiences' reaction, you get different lighting effects that we don't see at home, plus [the judges] tend to really like him as a personality on the show.'

Brendan also remarked that while he thinks Annabel Croft received the right score, 33 - for her Wicked themed Foxtrot, the judges have been overmarking throughout the competition.

'[A score of 33] was about right for Annabel [Croft]. The judges have been overmarking everybody from the start so it's hard to gauge. If I'd have been marking it would have been a seven or an eight.

This week Bobby and Dianne will perform the Paso Doble to Run Boy Run by Woodkid, and the Quickstep to Mack the Knife by Bobby Darin, and the pair are certainly putting in the hours.

Earlier in the evening the actor was seen popping outside the studio as he collected his Deliveroo order to give the couple a burst of energy.

With his Paso Doble coming up, it looked as though the star had been practicing his knee walks as he emerged from the studio wearing a pair of knee pads.
