Enrique Iglesias has reportedly sold his music catalog to the music rights platform, Influence Media Partners, for 'nine figures.'
The partnership with the 48-year-old Spanish singer, who recently announced his retirement from recording albums after an extraordinary career in music, includes his 'name, image, and likeness' as well as 'future licensing opportunities.'
According to Variety, the deal 'includes his masters released by Universal and independents but not his 2021 Sony album or future releases.'
'My songs hold immense significance for both my fans and me. I'm excited to be working with the Influence Media team. I feel confident we will build an enduring partnership for my music and future projects,' the father-of-three said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Influence Media Founder and Co-Managing Partner Lylette Pizarro called the performer 'a global icon' and him joining the 'Influence Media family' as a 'game-changing moment' for her company.

Pizarro also noted that the Grammy winner has 'played a pivotal role in introducing bilingual music to the masses' and is 'the most recognizable figures in modern music.'
