EastEnders have cast two new major acting names in a storyline set to hit screens in 2024.
After recently casting acting juggernaut, Resident Evil star Colin Salmon, as the new landlord of the Queen Vic, the show has made room for a few more legends.
In 2024, George Knight (Colin Salmon) is set to be reunited with his adoptive parents, who will be played by acting stalwarts, Elizabeth Counsell (Gloria) and Christopher Fairbank (Eddie).
The pair both have decades of experience in the vault, with Christopher and Elizabeth bagging their debut roles in 1978 and 1962 respectively.
Christopher, 70, boasts a star-studded career having in appeared in box office hits such as The Little Mermaid, as well as Guardians Of The Galaxy.

The experienced actor has also appeared in multiple TV shows such as Vera, Wolf Hall, Doctor Who, Sherwood and Outlander, but he is best known for his role as Albert in the comedy series, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
He has also dabbled in voice acting, using his vocal chords for a multitude of video games including, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Age of Conan and, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters.
Elizabeth, who will be playing Colin's adoptive mother, has also had a stellar career in her own right.
The star, 81, carved out a career as a household name when she appeared as Veronica in the BBC sitcom Brush Strokes.
