Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry, 31, reveals she got her tubes tied after giving ... trends now

Kailyn Lowry has revealed she had her tubes tied after giving birth to twins - making her a mom of seven.

The Teen Mom alum, 31, announced the arrival of her and boyfriend Elijah Scott's twins - a baby boy and girl - and revealed she underwent a C-section 35 weeks into her pregnancy to deliver the newborns.

The star also detailed how straight after the surgery, her tubes were 'cut' - taking an additional 30 minutes.

She said: 'They cut my tubes out. I remember laying there thinking, "This is taking f*****g forever."'

'When I was signing the paperwork for the tubes, they were like, ‘You could have [several side effects]. In the side effects, they include regret. I was like, ‘Oh, seven kids, I would never regret this.’'

'I feel done. I don’t regret it. But also, if I did not get my tubes taken out and got pregnant again it would not … like, it wouldn’t have upset me.

'But I’m, like, done. We were done. We made that decision before.

Tubal ligation prevents an egg from traveling from the ovaries through the fallopian tubes and blocks sperm from traveling up the fallopian tubes to the egg.

Discussing her C-section, she said: 'I was terrified because I didn’t love the idea but I knew I had to do it because the baby was breached.'

In addition to the newborns, Lowry and Elijah share one-year-old son Rio.

Lowry also shares sons Isaac, 13, with ex Jo Rivera, Lincoln, 10, with ex Javi Marroquin, Creed, three, and Lux, six, with ex Chris Lopez.

The birth comes after Kailyn revealed she was open undergoing another 'mommy makeover' after welcoming babies six and seven - and Ozempic is on her radar. 

Kailyn dropped the pounds after undergoing weight loss surgery back in 2016.
