Australian 'Swiftie dads' including AFL star Jack Crisp are part of a growing trend of fathers bonding with their children through Taylor Swift's music.

According to new Spotify data, 29% of Aussie Dads are fans of Swift, with nine in ten fathers admitting her music had a positive effect on their relationship with their kids.

Collingwood player Jack, 30, is leading the pack and as the proud father of three young daughters he openly admits to loving Swift's songs.

'I am as proud a Swiftie Dad as they come. Listening to Taylor Swift with my girls has become one of the great Crisp family pastimes,' he said in a statement.

'There isn't a car ride without a group Karaoke session of Shake it Off, a personal favourite of mine.'

The research added that one in four fathers will be attending Taylor's Australian Eras Tour concerts with their children - and will likely enjoy the show just as much as their kids.
