William Shatner celebrated an iconic career at the 22nd Annual Visual Effects Society Awards on Wednesday.

The 92-year-old Star Trek legend was on hand at the ceremony, held at The Beverly Hilton, to accept The VES Award for Creative Excellence.

The actor - who recently opened up about his financial woes after Star Trek was canceled - was also seen posing on the red carpet with Katee Sackhoff and Jay Pharoah.

Shatner hit the red carpet with a navy blue dress shirt under a short black coat for his red carpet appearance.

The iconic actor completed his look with a pair of black pants and matching black sneakers for the event.

Shatner was presented the award by Seth MacFarlane, with the actor admitting receiving the award felt, 'grandiose.'

'This room is probably filled with the most creative people in the industry. I mean every one of them is an artist and thinking ahead all the time,' Shatner said. 

'In the beginning, it was a flashlight and a little cardboard enterprise, and that became reality. That’s quite amazing to be here with all these wonderful people,' he said.

Shatner added, 'I’m falling out of airplane! And then I realized it was a special effect. I accept this award for those great [VFX] artists, men and women.'

The actor becomes the fifth recipient of the award, after Game of Thrones creators David Benioff & D.B. Weiss (2019), VFX supervisor Sheena Duggal (2020), cinematographer
