Calvin Harris has revealed his disgusting jet lag cure that left an air hostess in shock during a recent flight. 

The jet setting DJ, 40, admitted he knocks back several raw eggs to help his body clock adjust to a new time zone. 

Calvin, who eats a primal diet to help him feel energised, explained that he gets them through airport security without a hitch. 

He told Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2: 'I was on a British Airways flight just a few weeks ago and the air hostess told me she had never seen anybody crack eggs and pour them into their mouth at their seat before.

'But that was me — that’s what I do. I had six. I like to get rid of the whites so I just do the raw yolk. I find it gets rid of jet lag.' 

When asked if he was joking, Calvin continued: 'I just stick them in my bag. I’m surprised they get through security because for me, that’s liquid. But it’s never been flagged!' 

The DJ has been known to follow bizarre diets, gong from a ‘fruitarian raw vegan thing’ to a 'primal diet'. 

In 2020, he told Zane Lowe on Apple Music: 'You know, I lost the f*** you juice for a couple years. I did lose it.

'I don't know how I got it back, I think it was when I started eating bone marrow again and liver. 

'And it just all came rushing back as soon as I had those bones and got those amazing fats in my body. And then I felt energised enough through my primal diet.'

The Ready For The Weekend hitmaker, who is the highest paid DJ in the world, has invested in his personal appearance over the years. 

Back in 2007, as he released his debut album I Created Disco, Dumfries-born Calvin - whose real name is Adam Wiles - was a pale and scruffy brunette who favoured a battered leather jacket, hooded tops and loose jeans.

But roll on a few years and the award-winning producer, who is signed to music company Three Six Zero, ditched the hair dye, hired a stylist and started working out. A lot.
