Matt Lucas celebrated his 50th birthday on Tuesday and shared a sweet snap with his mother Diana to mark the occasion.
The comedian and actor beamed in the image posted to Instagram as the pair stood in front of giant red '50 balloons'.
He told in the caption how he had been writing during the day but was spending his birthday evening with his mum, stepdad and brother as he joked he was a 'lucky old man' to be surrounded by family.
He penned: 'It's my 50th birthday. I spent the day with my Fantasy Football League colleagues in the writers' room (we always write on Monday and Tuesday as we film on Wednesday).
'They all made a fuss of me and there was cake and balloons and banners in the room, and I got some lovely presents. Tonight I'm at home with my mum, stepdad and brother. I am a lucky (old) man x.

It comes after back in January it was revealed that Matt is hoping 2024 will be the year for love, as the star signed up to Tinder.
The Sun reported that the Little Britain star has decided to try his luck at online dating with the popular app which sees users swipe right on those they see as a potential match.
Curating his profile with a selfie of him beaming, Matt said he is so far unsure what kind of relationship he is hoping to find.
On his verified profile the star posted a confused emoji followed by the caption 'still figuring it out' in regard to what he is looking for in a potential partner.
