Robert Irwin has revealed why he accepted the offer to host the new season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Australia.
The zookeeper-turned-reality TV host, 20, told Yahoo Lifestyle, hosting the show is important in continuing the legacy of his father Steve, who tragically passed away when Robert was just three years old.
'I love that I have a real purpose and a legacy that I get to continue from my family, and my dad particularly, and I get to create my own - of wildlife conservation, of fun, of passion and positivity,' he said.
'And no show does it better than I'm A Celebrity when it comes to just fun, family, positive, let's give it a go. Plus, every contestant's working for a charity.'
He said he is a 'huge fan of the show' and it is a 'privilege and a real honour' to co-host the series alongside Julia Morris.
