Paris Hilton and her younger sister Nicky Hilton made a splash when they arrived in dueling sheer gowns at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

Paris, 43, looked ageless on the red carpet in a stunning sheer beige look by Sabina Bilenko which was covered in jewels and beads, while her 40-year-old sister Nicky added a healthy dose of color to the proceedings with a shimmering violet dress.

The reality stars and heiresses arrived at the party at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills while the 96th Academy Awards honored the best films of 2023, with the glittering ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The most hotly anticipated movies of the past year — Barbie and Oppenheimer — led the nominations, and Christopher Nolan's biopic about the father of the atomic bomb took home the top award.

Paris put on a stunning busty display in her flesh-colored dress, which featured a plunging neckline.

Her bust and midriff were decorated with hypnotizing designs of rhinestones mixed with clear and silver beads.

The dress had thick shoulder straps, along with wider straps that wrapped around her fit upper arms.

The Simple Life star flaunted her trim legs under her sheer skirt, which was covered with vertical rows of beads and rhinestones.

Paris complemented her outfit with a set of pointy silver heels, and she wore a thick necklace featuring the same starburst patterns of rhinestones.

Her gorgeous blond locks were done up opulently, with thick wavy strands dangling down the sides to frame her elegantly made-up face.

Nicky toned down the jewels but amped up the color with her striking violet dress.

The sheer outfit was covered in lustrous metallic material shaped into leaf and flower designs.

Like her sister's dress, it featured long sleeves, though her hands were exposed.

Her skirt reached down to the ground, and Nicky styled her blond hair into a relaxed bun. 

They attended in the wake of the Academy Awards, where Oppenheimer won a whopping seven Oscars, while its rival — and opening weekend double-feature partner Barbie only won one.  

Emma Stone went on to lead her film Poor Things to an impressive four wins, including her Best Actress win, while the UK-produced Holocaust film The Zone Of Interest won two awards at the gala event held at The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. 

Christopher Nolan's historical epic Oppenheimer swept the major categories with wins for Best Actor for Cillian Murphy, Best Supporting Actor for Robert Downey Jr., and two for Nolan, who won for Best Director and for producing the Best Picture winner.

By contrast, Barbie — which memorably won against Oppenheimer in the 'Barbenheimer' box office showdown over the summer — walked away with just one award for Best Original Song for What Was I Made For? by Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas McConnell.

Robert Downey Jr. jokingly thanked his 'terrible childhood' as he finally won an Oscar for his portrayal of Lewis Strauss.

He looked delighted as he took to the stage, despite host Jimmy Kimmel making an awkward quip about his drug use.

The veteran star — who has acted for over five decades — took home the Academy Award over stiff competition from Sterling K. Brown (for American Fiction), Robert De Niro (for Killers Of The Flower Moon), Ryan Gosling (for Barbie), and Mark Ruffalo (for Poor Things).

Oppenheimer won seven awards in total. In addition to Best Actor for Cillian Murphy, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director for Christopher Nolan and Best Picture, it won Best Original Score for Ludwig Göransson, along with awards for cinematography and achievement in film editing.

Al Pacino announced Oppenheimer as the Best Picture winner without bothering to name all the other nominees.
