Lenny Kravitz talks turning 60 and going nearly nude for his TK421 music video: ... trends now
Lenny Kravitz is gearing up to celebrate his 60th birthday on May 26 and he's finally 'feeling very comfortable exactly where I am.'
'I feel [exactly] where I'm supposed to be mentally, physically, and spiritually - and that's a tough place to get to. It's taken my whole life to get to this point,' the four-time Grammy winner explained in his CR Men cover story - hitting newsstands March 29.
'I'm really pushing myself to become stronger. I've been training pretty hardcore, like an elite athlete, the last couple years. Because it's all about longevity now. And also preparing my mind. All of it works together. Glory to glory.'
Lenny maintains his fit 5ft9in frame with a strict vegan and primarily raw diet and he works out five or six days a week with longtime trainer Dodd Romero.
'There are no shortcuts,' Kravitz noted.

'You gotta show up and do the work. And I'm dedicated to that. I'm doing everything I do, but I'm still getting up and doing that training hardcore.'
The biracial rock star continued: 'We all get emotional. We get tired. And we want to remedy that by perhaps taking in things that aren't healthy for us: food, alcohol, drugs, this, that, whatever. It's learning when you feel that emptiness, you feel that deficiency, go snack on something spiritual.'

Natural hairstylist Felicia Leatherwood coiffed Kravitz's dreadlocks and groomer Shelley Legrand made sure his wrinkle-free complexion was ready for his close-up.
