Lord Sugar fired a well-liked candidate and one of the youngest cast members on the series on Thursday night's show.

Virdi Singh Mazaria, 24, a music producer from Leicester saw his journey come to the end at the end of the episode.

For week seven, Lord Sugar’s team of hopefuls jetted off to Budapest - marking the first international trip of the series.

With the city celebrating its 150th birthday, the candidates hoped to capitalise on booming tourism to sell and run their own boat and vineyard tours.

One team focused on fun over facts while the other team had a last-minute change of plan which put a spanner in the works.

Lord Sugar, 76, told him: 'Virdi, you’ve told us that you’re a good salesman and you’re good at selling, but you didn’t sell well enough….It’s very difficult I’m afraid.

‘However, Virdi, seven tasks, seven losses. You are a charming young man, but I think your time in this process is over. It is very regrettable that I have to say to you, that you’re fired.

Virdi replies, 'Lord Sugar, Karren and Tim thank you very much for the opportunity, I really appreciate it.'

Lord Sugar replied: ‘Good luck, stay in touch.'

And Virdi took that last statement to heart, as later in the taxi he was in a good mood despite his journey being over.

He said: 'Lord Sugar said that I really made people around me proud and he also said stay in touch, so get me his WhatsApp number because I’m going to message him every day.'

Virdi already boasts over 13,000 followers on Instagram.

As well as producing UK rap and hip-hop music, he also performs DJ sets up and down the country.

The seventh episode saw contestants departing from Luton Airport and heading to the stunning Budapest, in Hungary.

Baroness Karren Brady welcomed everyone at the air stripe handling one tablet for each group.

As both teams turned on the devices, a clip recorded by Lord Sugar showed the business alum apologising for not being with them on the day as he was called on 'urgent business'.

The British magnate presented a brand-new challenge, which entailed preparing an appealing city tour in one of 'Europe’s most popular city breaks'.

Contestants tried to build an 'unforgettable' experience and then split in groups while selling as many tickets as possible.

Maura and Rachel were appointed project managers for the rival teams, with the yoga instructor opting for a wine tour, while Rachel chose a boat tour.

But before cracking on, Liverpool-born Noor - who was in Maura's team - pointed out she wasn't 'comfortable' selling alcohol due to her religion beliefs.

The jewellery company owner was then invited by Baroness Karren to instead switch team.

Mortgage broker Raj brought her best charm out while trying to sell as many tickets as possible, promising clients an 'incredible day' - but Karren was quick to point out: 'If they promise the world, I just hope they can deliver.'

In a bid to find potential clients on the streets of central Budapest, Virdi said concerned: 'I think the price is an issue.

'The price ain't right. Money is time.'

And Phil seemed to be of the same opinion as he echoed: 'I'm worried they are not going to be happy.'

Ultimately, Rachel's group managed to sell 15 out of 16 tickets - although they had to drop the price dramatically, selling £110 tickets for about £40 instead.

Maura took on a lively wine tour with her group of clients, starting with a walk on the wineyard, while explaining a few facts on the origins of Sauvignon Blanc.

'Can we all just take a moment feel the earth. Breath in that fresh air, breathe out,' she said leaving some guests bewildered as she also continued doing a 'Sauvignon Blanc' chorus.

'I'm totally confident in myself, i can host,' said the yoga company owner.

But a guest was left baffled when asked if the grape's name was actually Sauvignon Blanc and Maura replied: 'I’m not sure of the actual name of the grape.'

Flo and Raj joined forces as they enjoyed a wine tasting, learning to keep the beverage inside their mouth without swallowing.

But after the gruelling day, everyone faced their judgement inside Lord Sugar's boardroom.

The business icon was quick to point out Virdi said: 'I am an international DJ, leave it to me', previously in the day.

Yet Virdi denied saying 'leave it to me'.
