Jodie Marsh has split from her builder boyfriend Mark, three months after claiming he was her 'first adult relationship after dating a string of con men'.

On Saturday, the former glamour model, 44, took to Instagram to share a gallery of images of herself in various modelling guises and hinted what went wrong in the romance. 

She said: 'I think this sums up why I’ll never find a life partner.

'Me: “I want a lovely calm, happy, peaceful life, rescuing animals. I want to lay on the sofa and read books and listen to music. 

'I want to plant rose bushes in the garden and I’m actually quite boring. I need a man who understands that my life isn’t all glam and craziness. 

'Someone who wants to chill with me and realises that I can be quite boring but who enjoys the quiet times. I need a man who understands I live a simple life in the countryside”………'

This prompted a string of comments from her fans who asked her: 'What has happened to Mark?' and 'What about builder guy?' 

One fan then wrote: 'You need a man who doesn’t know the ‘old’ you - who won’t expect what you were and love who you are now! 

'The ‘you’ you are now just enjoys both sides of life more peacefully and people don’t get that. They think the wild nights and modelling is all you are and that’s not the case…. 

'Unfortunately men don’t always realise people mask / change / grow up and that’s their issue not yours! I still have men I worked with 20 years ago talk to me like I’m the same person and I wasn’t even ‘me’ back then so it’s exhausting dealing with them!'

And Jodie replied with a 'hands in the air' emoji.

Mark works as a builder at her animal sanctuary Fripps Farm and they went official with one another last June. 

She told MailOnline back in December: 'I'm finally in what I like to call an adult relationship which is you know, I've had a lot of ag with boyfriends.
